The Ezimo Town Union, Enugu branch, Wednesday, commended the PDP hierarchy in the state for appointing Barr Ifeanyi Ossai as the running mate of the state guber candidate, Barr Peter Mba, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The president of the union, Dr Paulinus Mba, stated this while interacting with newsmen at Ezimo.
He described Barr Ossai as a true son of Ezimo, and with full of capabilities.
According to him, “I thank the state governor, the state PDP guber candidate, and the hierarchy of the party in the state for finding our son worthy for this position.
“Although Barr Ossai is eminently qualified, we feel more honoured that he has been widely accepted across the state. We urge the electorate in the state to get their permanent voters’ cards and vote in the class of leaders that will move the state forward.
“We pray for the continued peace and stability in the state so that the conducive atmosphere that has been laid down by Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will be sustained in the incoming dispensation.”
