Soludo Didn’t Say ‘Peter Obi Is Labouring In Vain’ Ahead Of 2023 – Aide

By Adadareporters

There was no time the governor of Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo, said that the bid of Mr Peter Obi in 2023 would be in vain.

Obi is the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.

The media were awash that Prof Soludo told APGA stakeholders weekend that politicians who defected from All Progressives Grand Alliance to the Labour Party would labour in vain.

Soludo’s press secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, in a release, described the report as a misrepresentation of facts.

He wrote, “The statement allegedly credited to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo is totally false and unfounded

“Our checks reveal the statement was a total misrepresentation by an overzealous reporter who was not among the journalists present when Governor Soludo spoke extempore during his interaction with some audience after his 100 days in office media broadcast

“The above statement could best be described as an attempt by some misguided elements to cause disaffection between the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, and the party leadership

“We therefore wish to caution those wishing to cause mischief by publishing false and misleading stories to desist from doing so

“The public should please disregard the entire statement as it never emanated from Governor Soludo.”
