A missing eleven-year-old-girl has been found in Enugu, the state police command said Friday.
According to the state police public relations officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, ‘on 18/07/2022, at about 3:25pm, a good Samaritan found a female child, who gave her name as Chidimma Oforndukwe, aged 11, wandering along Enugu/Nsukka road, Ugwogo-Nike, Enugu East L.G.A’.
Ndukwe said, “She was brought to Unity Police Division, Ibagwa-Nike, Enugu. She gave her father and mother’s names as Anthony Ezeakor and Nnenna Oforndukwe, respectively; and her place of origin as Oha-Ndiagu in Ezeagu L.G.A. of Enugu State.”
The police image-maker added that ‘efforts so far made to trace the parents and/or relatives to identify had proven abortive’.
He urged parents and/or relatives to visit the station or call 07066292386 to identify and claim her.
The PPRO called on anyone with useful information to help the police to trace the parents or relatives of the child.
