The presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress, Saturday, said President Muhammadu Buhari directed that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the secretary to the federal government, Boss Mustapha, be dropped from the list of the Presidential Campaign Council.
Mr Festus Keyamo, the spokesman of the council, stated this to newsmen,
According to him, “Our attention has been drawn to some stories making the rounds that there may be something amiss within the family of the All Progressives Congress as the name of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is not included in the list of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
“For the avoidance of doubt, President Muhammadu Buhari is the chairman of the council. He directed that the VP and the SGF be left out so they could concentrate on the governance of the country.”
Osibanjo ran in the APC presidential primary, which was won by Senator Ahmed Tinubu, erstwhile boss of Osibanjo.
