The new president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop Daniel Okoh, Thursday, charged President Muhammad Buhari to resolve the insecurity ravaging parts of the country.
Okoh was elected unanimously by the 259 delegates of the association. He takes over from Dr Samson Supo Ayokunle whose tenure ended.
He said, “I would like to appeal to His Excellency to end blood letting, kidnapping and general insecurity in all the geo-political zones of the country.
“I believe that the government can do more to secure the lives and property given all the modern technology within his reach.”
The new CAN president is to serve for a single term of five years. He is the general superintendent of Christ Holy Church International, Onitsha.
