Just In: Kaduna NANNM Chairman Escapes Been Kidnapped

The chairman of Kaduna State Council of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Com Ishaku Yakubu, has escaped been kidnapped.

The attempt was made on his way back from Abuja Thursday evening around Rido area, our correspondent gathered on Friday.

The details of the incident are still sketchy.

However, the secretary of NANNM, Kaduna State Council, Comrade Christiana John Bawa, said bullets hit the passenger front seat of the car the chairman was travelling in.

She thanked God Almighty for saving the life of the chairman, adding that ‘he escaped, unhurt, and safe’.
