Breaking: Anthony Joshua Loses To Usyk Again

By Adadainfo

Anthony Joshua Saturday night lost  to Oleksandr Usyk in a bout held in Jedda, Saudi Arabia.

The Ukrainian out boxed Anthony Joshua to retain his IBF, IBO, WBA (Super) and WBO titles in a split decision on Saturday.

Usyk, a former undisputed cruiserweight champion, had defeated Joshua last September to win the titles.

Reacting, Larry Izamoje, CEO of Brilafm, said, “AJ has not learnt lessons. He disappointed us.”

DAZNBoxing via the Twitter handled reports that in the first round, “Usyk opened with a steady diet of pawing jabs. Joshua fired a jab at the chest, trying to find the spot that will be there despite Usyk’s head movement.

“Joshua also landed a solid jab of his own. Usyk stuck his own jab that landed. Usyk threw a left hand that missed and Joshua landed to the body. Usyk then landed the left hand and a sharp up-jab. A close round ends with an Usyk left hand that may have been enough to nab the round.”
