Prof Charles Quaker Dokubo, former coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has died at 70. He died in an Abuja hospital Wednesday night, our correspondent gathered.
The deceased was born at Abonnema, Akuku Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State on March 23, 1952. Both his primary and secondary schools took place at his country home.
He later went to Huddersfield Technical College in West Yorkshire for his advanced studies.
It was gathered that he was admitted to the University of Teesside at Middlesbrough from 1978-1980, where he read Modern History and Politics. He did his MA degree in Peace Studies, and his PhD in Nuclear Weapon Proliferation and its control.
