Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka will be operating from a monastery till further notice despite the re-opening of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria.
Mbaka is the spirit director of the ministry located at Umuchigbo, Iji Nike, Emene, Enugu. The ministry was reopened last week after being shut in July this year over alleged Mbaka’s political incitements.
During the opening Mass at the ground yesterday, attended by thousands of the ministry’s faithful, Mbaka thanked the Catholic bishop of Enugu Diocese, Dr Calistus Onaga, and the Church for reopening the ground.
He however said that the church had directed him to relocate to a monastery until he is directed to come back.
According to him, ‘Sunday Masses and Wednesday prayers will be holding, but Friday night prayers suspended for now’.
He said another priest, Rev Fr Anthony Amadi, had been posted to pilot the affairs of the ministry.
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Mbaka said some presidential candidates ‘are wasting their time’, adding that God gave him the revelation.
