The Choice 97.1 FM, Nnewi, Anambra State, has debuted broadcast services, with a pledge to make a difference.
This was disclosed by Chief Cletus Ibeto, its founder. According to him, the new station is the first customized radio channel in the South East/South South of Nigeria.
Ibeto, in a release, praised his team for making the station a reality. Quoting him, “Over the last 120 days, my team and I worked assiduously and round the clock to firm up our entry into the broadcast space in Nigeria.
“I’m therefore happy to announce the unveiling of the first customized radio channel in the South East/South South of Nigeria – Choice FM 97.1 – Nnewi.”
According to Ibeto, the motto of the station is ‘the station you trust”, adding that, “Our immediate growth plan strategy is to be the most listened to radio station in Anambra State because we are confident that we will make a tremendous difference in the industry.
“Our area of specialty is the delivery of timely, reliable and accurate information, entertainment and education to your doorstep right in your comfort zone.”
Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto, from Nnewi, is the head of The Ibeto Group, the largest business enterprise from Nnewi. In 2008, Ibeto received the national Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) from the Federal Republic of Nigeria for his outstanding contributions to the country through his manufacturing enterprise.
In 2012 he was awarded the Honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) for his continued outstanding services to the nation.
