The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Tuesday, felicitated with Gov Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as he marked his 64th birthday on Dec 12.
Ohanaeze, in a message to Gov Uzodimma, described him as ‘a charismatic de-tribalised patriot’. Ohanaeze’s message was signed by its national publicity secretary, Dr Alex Ogbonnia.
The message read, “There is an extraordinary or rather inexplicable phenomenon, an unmerited favour or grace or a je nes se pas that espouses the mystery behind the profound accomplishment by a few in various areas of life that present enormous challenges to most others.
“On the other hand, while most men grope in the dark or in their shadows, only the favoured attain their full potentials in life. The above hypothesis illuminates in part why at 64, one has become fully accomplished as a successful businessman, distinguished senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the governor of Imo State, one of the most sophisticated states in Nigeria.
“Various political pundits have been amazed that Governor Uzodimma has demonstrated uncommon courage, passion, focus and determination to write his name in gold in the sands of time, in spite of the obvious challenges.”
Ohanaeze, in the message, wished Uzodimma ‘many years in robust health, sound mind and more exploits in Nigeria’.
