Simon Ekpa on Friday debunked reports that he was arrested by the International Criminal Police Organization aka Interpol.
There were reports that he was arrested in Finland by Interpol while trying to escape arrest. The news had it that he was allegedly headed for Israel.
Ekpa, a lawyer and disciple of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, in a viral video, refutted the reports, vowing to bring Nigeria to an end.
He said in the video that, “All these Nigerian criminals in Germany, giving you information about Simon Ekpa, Interpol this, Interpol that. God is going to use me to end Nigeria. You can see me (that) I’m driving.
“This evil Nigeria that is committing crimes; that is known for terrorism. This evil Nigeria that is supporting terrorism.
“All you people do is to support Nigeria because you are getting paid for the job and evil journalism you do. Let me tell you: all of you will fail. You will see how you are going to fail next year.
“And at the end, Biafra will come.”
Ekpa, former head of Radio Biafra, was named leader of IPOB to fill the vacuum left by the detained Nnamdi Kanu.
However, the IPOB hierarchy later claimed Ekpa was suspended but the Ebonyi-born Biafran agitator has remained undaunted.
Kanu faces multiple charges partaining to running a proscribed group, treason and jumping bail.
