Stanley Ogwo, a student of the Institute of Management Technology, IMT, Enugu, has been kidnapped, Adadareporters gathered on Thursday.
The incident occurred along Enugu-Abakaliki road when the victim, a final year student of banking and finance, was on his way to school.
The father of the abductee, Mr Godwin Ogwo, an on-air personality of Radio Nigeria, Enugu, said the abductors contacted him through his son’s handset.
“They merely asked if we are ready to comply. I was confused and I switched off the phone,” Ogwo stated.
It was learnt that the matter has been reported to the state police command for further action.
