Breaking: Bendel Insurance Defeat Enugu Rangers, Win Nigeria’s FA Cup

Bendel Insurance FC of Edo State, Wednesday, won this year’s Federation Cup, defeating Enugu Rangers by one goal to nil.

The winning goal was scored in the dying minutes of the first half through a penalty. The fracas resulting in the penalty led to the sending off of a Rangers defender, Chinemerem.

The tournament held at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium, Asaba, in Delta State. The outcome ensured that Rangers will not play in any Afcon competition this year.

Earlier Bayelsa Queens won the female version of the cup.
