An APC group, Tinubu Shetitma Advocates and Uba Sabuwa Advocates (TSA – USA), an independent and self-sponsored campaign and lobby group, Thursday, commended the governor of Kaduna state, Senator Uba Sani, for choosing capable men and women as members of the State Executive Council.
Speaking to newsmen after an executive committee meeting which appraised post-election activities of the APC and the appointments made so far by the governor, the national chairman of the group, Alhaji Samaila Maigoro (Falke), said that the quality of persons appointed into offices and especially the choice of commissioners was very good.
He said that Senator Sani had selected a formidable team that is capable of delivering on the SUSTAIN Manifesto for which he campaigned for support.
Manasseh Turaki, director, media and public affairs of the group, quoted Maigoro as saying the people the governor selected ‘were round pegs in round holes, who also possess professional knowledge, vast experiences and track records of achievements in their previous offices’.
Maigoro called on them ‘to deliver to make the Uba Sani administration the envy of other states’. He also advised the governor to increase his spread of appointments ‘so that every local government area and people will have a sense of belonging in his administration’.
