Angry Protesters Loot Items At NCC Office In Kano

Protesters suspected to be hoodlums have raided the office of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in Kano. They reportedly carted away some furniture, mattresses, and other items.

“They pretended to be peaceful until they began to loot,” according to an eyewitness.

Our correspondent reports that the looting abated with the quick intervention of security operatives.

Earlier, protesters had burnt tyres in front of the Kano Government House, prompting security operatives to shoot into the air, forcing the protesters to scamper for safety.
