The All Progressives Congress, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, weekend, commended Gov Uba Sani for his giant strides in the state.
The LG APC chapter also reminded the governor to construct Kasuwan Magani – Gefe/Pako road, Fadaman Kororo – Kutura road and Maraba Afogo – Kallah road which he promised the people of the area during his election campaign.
This is contained in a communique the party issued at the end of its meeting held at Kajuru. It was signed by the chairman of the chapter, Bala Umar, and the secretary, Solomon Peter. They commended Gov Uba Sani for initiating measures “to heal wounds and bring about unity in the state as a result of the divisive policies he inherited”.
The party stakeholders commended the governor for the regular consultative meetings he holds with various community leaders and stakeholders, and thanked him for the ongoing rural transformation projects in the state and especially contracts awarded for the road linking Kajuru to Igabi LGAs.
The communique read in part, “We commend the state APC chairman and the state working committee for their commitment to party development and membership drive.
“We commend Kajuru LGA Chairman, Hon Ibrahim Gajere, for his dedication to the growth of the APC in Kajuru Local Government.”
The chapter pledged to consolidate on the party’s achievements in the local government and to win the forthcoming local government elections in the area.
It assured all decampees from other parties of a level-playing field in the APC in Kajuru local government.
The communique added, “We thank the governor for the steps being taken to ease insecurity in the state, and call on him to direct increased surveillance in Kajuru LGA, and containment of bandits who have displaced many communities in the area.”
