Mr Haruna Muhammed, former Police Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Command, is dead.
Haruna, a Chief Superintendent of Police, was the second in command of the State Intelligent Department (SID) of Gombe State Police Command before his death.
According to a release by the spokesman of the Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the deceased served at various capacities in the Force, and most notably was as the Police Public Relations Officer at Anambra State Police Command.
Ikenga wrote that, “The command notes that his demise is an irreparable loss to the entire Nigeria Police Force and offers its condolences to family members and loved ones.
“The command also prayed for the repose of his soul and prayed that God Almighty give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.”
The cause of his demise was not stated.
