CIEPUK Unveils 50% Scholarship Scheme For Nigerian Students

The Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners UK (CIEPUK), weekend, unveiled a 50% scholarship programme for its ongoing IJMB/JUPEB programmes aimed at enabling admission seekers to gain admission into higher institutio inns with ease.

Amb Professor Marcel Ezenwonye, the Global President and CEO of CIEPUK, said the scholarship guarantees successful candidates admission into the 200-level of top Nigerian universities.

It provides opportunities for students who might have struggled to secure university admission due to low JAMB scores, he said.

Quoting Prof Ezenwoye, “The institute is committed to improving access to higher education through its strategic partnerships with over 50 educational institutions worldwide.

“Students enrolled in this scholarship scheme will have the chance to study in prestigious institutions, like Paul University in Awka, Anambra State; Tansian University, Covenant Polytechnic, Gregory University, Mewar University, and many more, both within and outside Nigeria.”

He said the CIEPUK-Scefund Scholarship Scheme targets 1000 students per state and is open to SS3 students, JAMB candidates, JUPEB/IJMB applicants, and holders of ND, HND, and NCE certificates with the opportunity to study in various tertiary institutions, both locally and internationally.

He mentioned some of the universities to include Tansian University, Umunya in Anambra State; Covenant Polytechnic in Owerri Nta, Imo State; Temple Gate Polytechnic in Aba, Abia State; Mewar University in Abuja, and Dorben Polytechnic, also in Abuja.

Other participating institutions, according to him, are Gregory University in Abia State, Evangel University and Crownpoint International College of Nursing and Health Technology in Ogun State.

“Internationally, students can enroll in prestigious universities, such as American Heritage University of Southern California, Global University of Science and Technology in the USA, Gedion Robert University in Lusaka, Zambia, and HIPDET University in Cameroon,” he stated

Additional local institutions include Anambra State Polytechnic in Awka, Havilla University in Nde-Ikom, Cross River State; Peter University in Achina/Onneh, Anambra State, and Eastern Polytechnic in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The scheme also collaborates with various public and private universities and polytechnical across Nigeria and other countries, it was gathered.

Quoting Ezenwoye, “Students who can present valid JAMB scores from the previous or current year stand a chance to benefit from this educational intervention.”
