‘Organ Harvesting’: UK Court Adjourns Ekweremadu’s Case Till Oct 31

Ike Ekweremadu, former deputy president of the Senate, will remain in the custody of the UK security until October 31, 2022, UK’s Central Criminal Court ruled Thursday.

Ekweremadu, representing Enugu West senatorial district in the National Assembly, is facing trial over an alleged organ harvest of a minor.

He was arrested alongside his wife Beatrice over the same charges last month. His wife was granted bail earlier this month.
