Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed, the vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Friday, mocked former presisential aide Reno Omokri following his exclusion from the campaign team of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Dr Ahmed mocked Omokri via his verified Twitter handle. According to him, “PDP campaign team list has been released but Reno Mockery’s name is no where to be found. They have served oga breakfast even before the election.”
Recall that a document released yesterday, signed by the national organising secretary of PDP, Bature Umar, announced Bauchi State governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, as vice chairman of the campaign council for the north, while the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, was made the southern vice president.
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, was listed as a member of the council. Similarly, Wike’s ally, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, made the list as a member of the council.
Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal was made the director general of the presidential campaign, while former governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, was made deputy director general, operations.
Others are former national secretary of PDP, Professor Adewale Oladipo, who was appointed director-general, operations; Chief Raymond Dokpesi, deputy director general, Technical and Systems, and former national chairman of PDP, Okweaileze Nwodo, deputy director-general, research.
Reno Omokri, who has been outspoken for Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, was left out.
