The governor of Anambra State Chukwuma Soludo has made himself so unpopular for ‘vehemently’ maintaining that Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party ‘can’t win’ the 2023 presidential election.
Nze Kanayo Chukwumezie, founder of Odimma Ndigbo, stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to him, “He (Soludo) has vindicated all claims of jealousy, hatred, campaign of calumny and smear campaign being levelled against him.
“He has made himself so unpopular and his opinion loathed by Nigerians. He fails to realize that Peter Obi is the Progressive Nigerian Project whose time is ripe.
“Soludo has shown that he is with the old order that has held this country hostage for decades now. February 2023 shall tell.
“Our governor is dancing naked in the market square and shaming all of us. Say or believe what you like but this is the simple situation.
“Those that have his ears should advise him to redress his dangerous and unpopular steps. Being insensitive to the mood, position and direction of the people he represents is a suicidal mission and irresponsible.”
Soludo had last week stated that all the investments Obi made while governing Anambra State amounted to nothing.
With the myriads of attacks that followed his statement, yesterday, he released another statement, entitled ‘History Beckons and I will not be Silent (Part 1)’. In it, the former CBN governor predicted that Obi would not even come second at the 2023 presidential polls..
