Mr Frank Nweke jnr, the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate in Enugu State ahead of the 2023 election, has debunked media reports that he endorsed Senator Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress for president.
Nweke’s campaign group, Okeifufe Campaign Organization, said the report was ‘concocted from the imagination of mischievous individuals’.
The group said, “the report of Frank Nweke Jr’s endorsement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is completely false and at no time was any interview granted that could have been misconstrued as such.”
The former minister of information was quoted to have said, “I do not endorse or support Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress. The accusatory and dismal piece by one Innocent Chukwu is libellous, inane, and completely untrue. Our lawyers will be in touch with the publishers forthwith to seek redress.
“We remain focused on our goals and will not be distracted by propaganda. We encourage all our supporters to do the same.”
