“Without Fr Ejike Mbaka, my quadruplets wouldn’t have been discharged from hospital after birth,” says a man whose wife was delivered of quadruplets after six years of childlessness.
Ekene Odugu, from Umugbodo Ndi Ulo in Igbo Eze North local government area of Enugu State, married for six years without issues.
After running helter-skelter, he went to the Adoration Ground where Fr Mbaka prayed for him and his wife. Afterwards, his wife conceived, gave birth to four children: three boys and one girl.
Adadareporters visited Ekene at his resÃdence at Mornach Avenue. Ekene said that the children were born via a caesarian operation.
In his words, “The process gulped heavy amounts of money. Help really came from public-spirited individuals.
“After the caesarian operation, the babies were put in incubators for three weeks.
“We paid over N3m. I borrowed and became bankrupt. The remaining money which was N1.1m that facilitated our discharge was paid by Fr Mbaka.
“You will never know what it means to marry without child-nearing. It is too unbearable.
“I thank God, who, through the prayers of Fr Ejike Mbaka, made me a father of four: Ekenedirichukwu, Chukwuechetam, Kamsiyochukwu and Ugomsinachi.
“My prayer is that God will remember those who are in the same condition.
“May God continue to provide Fr Mbaka. He is the helper of the helpless. Without his intervention, probably we may have not been discharged from the hospital by now.
“The training of these children is a herculean task. People have been doing wonders for me, but we still need help.”
