A commercial bus loaded with perishable goods, Tuesday afternoon, lost control, and rammed into a keke park located at NOWAS junction along Abakpa road in Enugu.
The bus was conveying some perishable goods from Nsukka to Enugu, and lost control due to brake failure, and rolled to a tricycle (keke) commercial park with a bang, our correspondent gathered.
An eye witness, Cyprain Ajah, said, “The bus hit some riders and traders, as well as some Keke tricyles. Though no life was lost, about four persons sustained serious wounds. The incident occured about 12:17 noon.
“The driver already parked to obey the traffic light stationed there. He tried to control the movement of the vehicle, but the brake could not pull the vehicle up. It rolled into the Keke park, injuring some people, including the driver.”
It was gathered that the victims were taking to hospital for medical attention.
