The remains of the youth leader of All Progressive Grand Alliance in Anambra State, Hon Emeka Alaehobi, were found on Saturday after he was kidnapped on Thursday, our correspondent gathered weekend.
It was gathered that the deceased was kidnapped at his community, Ukpor, in Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state.
A source said his kidnappers did not request any ransom. He corpse was dumped at a neighbouring town, Utuh, the source added.
Meanwhile, the Anambra State Police public relations officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the killing to newsmen.
Mr Ikenga said, “When our operatives got to the scene, the corpse had been removed by some persons.
“We are yet to identify [the corpse], and we have also ascertained that the corpse is that of the youth leader.”
