Mrs Ihuoma Eze Appointed Acting Project Coordinator, APPEALS, Enugu State

The Enugu State government, Tuesday, announced Mrs Ihuoma Eze as the acting state project coordinator of Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS).

APPEALS is a World Bank assisted project with the objective of enhancing the productivity of small and medium scale farmers in Enugu State.

Mrs Eze’s appointment was contained in a letter signed by the secretary to the Enugu State government, Professor Simon Ortuanya, which was made available to newsmen in Enugu.

The appointment takes effect from July 1, 2022.

communication officer, Enugu APPEALS Project, added that, “Mrs Ihuoma Eze has been part of the management team of the Enugu APPEALS project since its inception in 2019 as the women and youth/livelihood specialist of the project until her new appointment.”

According to Igboke, “Mrs Eze has also worked in the Nigerian Watershed Erosion Management Project (NEWMAP) in the state.”

Mrs Eze holds a master of science degree in parasitology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

She also holds a bachelor of science degree in zoology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

She has attended several trainings, workshops and seminars on World Bank project implementations at various times.
