AIG Madaki Escapes Bandit Attack With Bullet Wounds

An Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in charge of zone 12 (comprising of Bauchi and Gombe states) with headquarters in Bauchi, AIG A. Madaki, was attacked Tuesday by bandits at Bade, Kaduna State, on his way to Abuja for an official engagement.

It was gathered that AIG Madaki sustained gun shot injury in his leg while Assistant Superintendant of Police (ASP) Gideon, his orderly, was killed and his driver was shot in the arm.

Gideon, recently promoted to ASP, once worked with late Ali Kwara.
