Police Nab Man Using Charms To Defraud POS Operators In Awka

The Anambra Police Command, Thursday, arrested one Chisom Nweke for allegedly using juju to swindle POS operators in Awka, Anambra State.

Nweke, 26, resides at Umuawulu, Awka, along Amawbia roundabout, according to the state police command’s public relations officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga.

DSP Ikenga, in a release, said, “Police operatives arrested him today 15/9/2022 at about 9am. He confessed to be using charms to defraud POS operators within Awka and its environs.

“Preliminary investigations show that the suspect cuts plain white papers in sizes of naira notes, and gives to the POS operators for deposit. Efforts are emplaced to arrest other gang members.”
