Enugu: Police Academy 9th Regular Intake Screening Begins 26th September

The Enugu State Police Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Thursday, said the automated physical and credential screening exercise for the ongoing 9th Regular Course Intake into the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano, has been scheduled for Monday, 26th September, 2022 to Saturday, 1st Oct., 2022 by 8am daily.

 

A statement from the state police public relations officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said the exercise would hold at the Senior Police Officers’ Mess, Agbani road, Enugu. The exercise is for applicants of the state ‘who successfully applied and completed the online registration’, he said.

 

According to him, “The applicants are hereby enjoined to report to the venue in clean white T-shirts and shorts, with two white flat files attached with recent passport photographs, a printout of the screening invitation slip, which can be obtained online through www.polac.edu.ng; evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government recognized medical hospital; evidence of good character duly signed by the applicant’s village/district head (traditional ruler), certificate of origin duly signed by the applicants’ local government chairman or secretary, National Identity Number (NIN) slip, original and duplicate copies of credentials, including O’ level result(s), certificate of origin and birth certificate/declaration of age, as well as JAMB result printout, printout of application form and a duly completed guarantor’s form.

 

“The applicants are to note that failure to present the above mentioned items will lead to their not being considered for the screening. They are equally advised to pay attention to details and specific guidelines during the screening exercise.”

 

Meanwhile, the state commissioner of police, CP Ahmed Ammani, has reiterated that the exercise, which is absolutely free and without any pecuniary obligation, will be fully guided by the statutory entry requirements into the Nigeria Police Force. Hence, he urged them to be wary of scammers and report any contrary act for necessary action.
