Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, Wednesday, thanked God after undergoing successful surgery.
He posted his Divine appreciation on his Instagram page. According to him, “No surgery is too minor, so I’m grateful for the competent doctors assigned to me for a job well done.
“I just want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Allah for a successful surgery on my left arm.
”Also to you all, for your messages, prayers and words of encouragement. I hope to be back on the field soon stronger and absolutely better.”
Thank God for a successful procedure.” Musa plays for Sivasspor in Turkey.
Musa’s surgery coincided with the defeat suffered by the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the hands of Desert Foxes of Algeria in a friendly played at Oran Tuesday night. The Algerian team have now recorded four consecutive victories over Super Eagles in the recent past.
Eagles opened scoring but the Foxes got the glory through a penalty and a long-distance shot.
