Chief Vincent Ogbulafor, former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, is dead. He died Thursday in Canada, aged 73, our correspodent gathered.
A source from his family said Chief Ogbulafor died of an unnamed illness. He was the first national secretary of PDP.
He was born on May 24, 1949, and hailed from Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government of Abia State.
His era as PDP national chairman was short-lived as he was compelled to resign after he was accused of misappropriation of public funds when he served as a minister of the Federal Republic.
The PDP National Secretariat is yet to make an official statement on his death as at the time of filing this report.
