Uknown Gunmen Kill 2, Burn Police Station In Oji River

Unknown gunmen, Sunday morning, killed a civilian and a policeman at Inyi Divisional Police Station in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The dead are a policeman and a civilian who came to lodge a complaint.

The unknown gunmen, who came in two vehicles, also set the police station ablaze. They were about six and shot sporadically before setting the building ablaze, a source said.

A news medium quoted an eye witness saying, “They scared everybody, before setting the building ablaze,” an eye witness said. He added that one of the dead was not a police operative, but a civilian who came to lodge a complaint at the station.The second one is a policeman, the source said.

Police are yet to confirm the attack.
