Two persons, today, escaped unhurt as a petrol-laden tanker fell and exploded in Anambra State.
The incident occurred at the Immigration Junction by Awka-Enugu expressway at about 06:50hrs.
The driver of the tanker was on speed, lost control while trying to turn at the junction, crashed, and went up in flames,
according to the sector education officer, Federal Road Safety Commission, Anambra State Command, RC Margret Onabe.
Our correspodent gathered that two male adults were involved in the crash, and they were unhurt.
She stated that an FRSC rescue team and the state fire service controlled the raging fire.
The sector commander, FRSC, Anambra State, Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi, warned motorists to desist from overspeeding and observe recommended speed limits.
