Three persons suspected to be vandalising electricity transformers were early Friday burnt alive in Ebonyi State.
Adadareporters.com gathered that the incident occurred at Igweledoha Amagu in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state.
A son of a late traditional ruler in the area accused of vandalizing transformers at Igweledoha, Ndufu Amata and Ekawoke, all in Ikwo, is among the victims, a source stated.
The source, who did want his name mentioned, added that luck ran out on them at about 2am on Frdiay when they were caught with some transformer parts.
It was gathered that that the gang was made up of five members, but two escaped being lynched.
“As I am talking to you, they are now on fire. The blaze is still on at Igweledoha Square Roundabout in Ikwo Local Government Area,” a news platform reported.
An eyewitness said the mob did not want to involve the police because they believe they would not be prosecuted by the authorities.
Meanwhile, the police public relations officer, Ebonyi State, Mr Chris Anyanwu, said he was yet to receive the report when our reporter got across to him.
