Enugu Native Doctor Who Killed Client While Testing Efficacy Of Anti-Bullet Charm Arrested

The Enugu State Police Command, Tuesday, announced the arrest of one Emmanuel Odo, 23, a native doctor, for allegedly shooting one Benedict Onunze to death while test-running the efficacy of anti-bullet charms he (Odo) administered to the deceased.

DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the PPRO, Enugu State Police Command, stated this in a release he made available to newsmen in Enugu.

Our correspodent gathered that the native doctor hails from Umuaram Village in Ikem community of Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State while the dead hailed from Eha-Amufu in the same local government area.

The incident happened on 16/11/2022 at about 11pm, Ndukwe stated.

Quoting him, “Preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect confessed to having used a locally-fabricated single-barreled gun to shoot and murder the said victim in his shrine at the mentioned location, while testing the gunshot protection charm he had prepared for him.

“The gun has been recovered, while further investigation is ongoing at the Homicide Section of the State CID Enugu.”
