Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala received her Pichichi award for finishing the 2021/22 Spain Primera Division Women League season as top scorer.
Oshoala collected the award at a gala night held on Tuesday. She scored 20 goals and beat Madrid CFF’s Geyse to the Pichichi.
The African Women’s Player of the year managed to win the award, despite missing four months’ action due to injury.
Barcelona won the league title as invincibles and also picked up the Copa De Rina. They reached the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in the same season.
