Thugs Attack PDP Rally In Enugu, Kill One

Yet-to-be-identified gunmen, Wednesday, attacked a political rally of the Peoples Democratic Party in Enugu, killing one person in the process.

The incident happened at Awgu Ward One during Enugu West political rally of the PDP, which had in attendance the party’s senatorial candidate for the zone in the 2023 general elections, Engr Osita Ngwu, as well as the party’s House of Representatives candidate for Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency, Engr Anayo Onwuegbu.

Enugu State Police Command is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
