Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party has won the presidential election held in Igboeze South Local Government of Enugu State.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, was declared winner at the collation centre in the LG after polling a total of 14,143 votes.
Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar came second with 4010 votes. Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress polled 970 votes.
For the senatorial polls, APC, 1344; LP, 14, 254, and PDP, 3615. For the House of Representatives, APC scored 970, LP- 14143, and PDP- 4010.
