Maduka University, Ekwegbe-Nsukka, in Enugu State, has released its first admission list for the upcoming 2023–2024 academic session.
The university, anchored on innovation and entrepreneurship, is founded by business mogul and philanthropist, Dr Samuel Maduka Onyishi. Dr Onyishi is the chairman of Peace Group.
The university announced the list in a letter addressed to the successful candidates. Its vice chancellor, Professor Charles Ogbulogo, in the letter, expressed his delight in offering provisional admission to the 193 successful applicants.
This was contained in a post by Dr Onyishi on his Facebook page. Onyishi stated that, “Admission is contingent upon meeting the necessary entry requirements and adhering to the university’s regulations.
“Maduka University aims to provide comprehensive and impactful academic programmes, equipping students with knowledge, self-reliance, and a service-oriented mindset. To secure admission, candidates are required to submit various documents, including originals and photocopies of their qualifications as well as Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result slips.
“Furthermore, candidates are requested to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N50,000 into the designated account number 1100544852 at Peace Microfinance Bank Ltd., under the account name Samuel Maduka Onyishi Foundation.
“This fee should be settled within two weeks of the publication of the offer letter. The first installment or full payment of the tuition fees is also expected to be made by the end of September 2023.”
