Just In: Emefiele Arraigned By DSS Over Illegal Possession Of Firearms

The suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele, is currently being arraigned at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The suspended CBN governor faces a charge bordering on illegal possession of firearms.

Our correspondent reports that he was brought to the court premises at 9:21am by officers of the State Security Service (SSS) on Tuesday. He is appearing before Justice Nicholas Oweibo, a vacation judge.
