It was gathered that the CP deployed the crack squad “to provide security for the people of Ihiala during and after the festive period,” the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated.

Ikenga said, “One Chitana Oha, male, 25 years old, alias ‘Kill and Bury’, was arrested. Also nabbed is one Emmanuel Ifeanyi Okonkwo, male, 24 years old, alias ‘Good and Bad’. Both suspects were arrested at their hideout at Okija within the same local government area.”

Meanwhile, CP Adeoye has reinstated the commitment of the force towards ending cult-related killings in Ihiala and other parts of the state.
