The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council will be composed of people of integrity, the party’s national publicity secretary, Comrade Arabambi Abayomi, said this while clarifying the delay in the inauguration of the team.
Our correspondent reports that PDP and APC already have their teams, ready for inauguration.
Abayomi said LP is still consulting with the party’s stakeholders towards raising a formidable presidential campaign council following the commencement of campaigns ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Abayomi told The PUNCH on Tuesday that, “We are not having any inauguration for now. Our candidate is focusing on sorting out the composition of his presidential campaign council and the nationwide consultation he is conducting.”
He added that the party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, would ‘release his policy document at the same time he announces his presidential campaign council.”
