The Young Progressives Party’s candidate for Anambra central senatorial district, Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi, has bagged an award of Human Resource Excellence from the National Link Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council.
The award was in recognition of his numerous investments in people around him, it was gathered.
The chairman of the chapel, Hon Tempest Chinyelude Michael Udeze, said, “Dr Umeadi has become a household name in the politics of Anambra state; and has invested heavily in developing people.
“We find you worthy of this award after careful scrutiny by the NUJ, and after you are found worthy and deserving of the award,” Udeze said.
While receiving the award on behalf of Dr Umeadi, the duo of Hon Peter Ozumba and Mr West Umeadi, thanked the the chapel for finding their principal worthy of such prestigious award.
They said the award testified that Dr Umeadi’s giant strides in human capital development do not go unnoticed.
“This shows that all his efforts in impacting positively in humanity were being taken note of; not withstanding that he has not been publicizing his good deeds,” according to them.
Ozumba said the new direction agenda of the Umeadi campaign council was to enthrone hope, prosperity and departure from the old ways of doing things in the Nigerian politics.
