The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Mr Peter Obi, Tuesday, marked his 62nd birthday at some Internally Displaced Persons’ camps in Plateau State.
Obi disclosed this via his verified Twitter handle. Recall that recently gunmen attacked and killed many residents in the communities of Bwoi, Sabon Gari and several others in Mangu LGA.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, also visited the state governor, Mr Caleb Mutfwang, to commiserate with him over the killing of over 300 persons in Mangu LGA of the state.
He said, “In line with my earlier humble request for friends and well-wishers to spread the love by visiting hospitals, schools and care homes to mark my 62nd birthday, I visited Plateau State to commiserate with the governor and the people over the recent widespread unfortunate killings in the state, which are unacceptable.”
