Army Locates Abducted Chibok ‘Girl’, Son

The troops of 26 Task Force Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Tuesday, said they had found a mother suspected to be among the Chibok girls abducted by members of the dreaded Boko Haram during the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan.

Mrs Mary Ngoshe and her son were intercepted by the troops around Ngoshe in Borno State on 14 June 2022, the army said in a tweet via @HQNigeriaArmy on wednesday morning.

It stated that, “Troops of 26 Task Force Brigade on patrol around Ngoshe in Borno State on 14 June, 2022 intercepted one Mrs Mary Ngoshe and her son.

“She is believed to be one of the abducted girls from GGSS Chibok in 2014. Further exploitation ongoing.”
