The Nigeria Police, Thursday, released telephone hotlines which Nigerians should call in terror emergencies.
IGP Usman Baba disclosed this in a statement issued by force spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi, which was made available to newsmen in Abuja.
The proactive numbers, according to the IGP, are to avert and respond to possible terror attacks in the country. He said the NPF were working with other sister agencies to ensure security of lives and property in the country.
According to him, there are presently no impending dangers in the country. This is contrary to a statement by the United States about imminent terror attacks in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
