Spain’s female football team, Sunday, defeated their England’s female side to win this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Spanish side, called the La Roja, humbled English Lionesses via a goal scored by twenty-three-year-old Olga Carmona Garcia, who plays for Real Madrid. She scored the only goal of the match on 29 minutes.
The tournament was co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
