FCT: Wike Assumes Office, Vows To Demolish Unapproved Structures

The newly-sworn in minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, today, resumed duties with a vow to restore the master plan of the nation’s capital.

Wike, in a maiden media outing, said land allottees who have been given Certificates of Occupancy but failed to develop would also lose their lands to give way to those ready to build.

The former governor of Rivers State said, “If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down.”
